According to Time Magazine, The House passed a resolution on Friday morning that denounces the "horrors of socialism". I am stunned that, out of 435 members of Congress, that only 98 members of Congress understand what Socialism means, and how it applies to the United States, as they were the only ones to vote against this idiotic legislation.

In a recent article from The Hill entitled Vance calls court order to fully fund SNAP 'absurd ruling' Vance stated, “It’s an absurd ruling because you have a federal judge effectively telling us what we have to do in the middle of a Democrat government shutdown." He seems to have forgotten the Constitution lays out the guidelines for three co-equal branches of government. This gives the courts the right to instruct the Executive branch when their actions do not conform to the Constitution, and the laws passed by Congress.

If you listen to, and believe the news, “illegal aliens” are rampaging through our cities and causing all kinds of havoc. Every day, you see headlines about raids of businesses, across the economic spectrum. All this to arrest criminals who are contributing nothing to the economy of the United States, according to Donald Trump. Yet somehow these same people are also consuming resources that should go to the ‘hard working citizens’ of this country. They are literally arresting people who are actively employed, contributing to the success of this country, and in most cases will never see any of the benefits that they are paying in to.

Who would have thought that being adopted from a foreign country by a US citizen would not bestow citizenship on the minor child being adopted? I certainly did not know that this was yet another hurdle that adoptive parents must jump through, with precision, executing documentation requests, and even ensuring that the government does not lose the substantiating documents!

The First Amendment gives us and the Press Freedom of Speech, the text of that amendment says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Yes there is still crime in the cities, but it's down. Look at any of the metric and you can see that for yourself, don't believe them when they tell you x or y city is a hellhole, etc look for yourself and make up your own mind. There is always going to be crime especially when you have that many people in one location, it's concentrated simply because of the number of people. It's plain and simple don't accept the lies, demand better of your representatives and don't let them get away with telling you otherwise.
